  1. Find the engine label

    Honda GX: stamped on the crankcase near the oil fill. Briggs & Stratton: model, type and code on the shroud or valve cover. Generators and mowers: a sticker on the frame or deck.

  2. Match the number

    Each product page lists the OEM numbers it replaces. If your number is in the list, the part fits.

  3. No number?

    Measure: carb bore and bolt spacing, hose inside diameter, cable inner and conduit length, gasket bolt pattern. Compare with the specifications table.

  4. Still unsure
